Gangs of Bandadukka: After Angamaly Diaries, Vijay Babu to produce another rustic action flick
Vijay Babu’s Friday Film House is well known for producing quality films with less known talents at the helm. ‘Zachariayude Garbhinikal’, ‘Philips and the Monkey Pen’ and ‘Angamaly Diaries’ are some of the best films to come out of the banner. The production house currently has a bunch of interesting films coming up. Last day, Vijay Babu made an announcement about their new project – ‘Gangs of Bandadukka’ (GoB).
Aneesh Anwar, noted for directing films like ‘Zachariayude Garbhinikal’ and ‘Kumbasaram’ will be helming this film. Nizam Ravuthar, who has worked with Anwar as a dialogue writer in ‘Zachariayude Garbhinikal’, has scripted GoB. According to the makers, it is an action-packed revenge film that is set in Kannur. The film is based on several real life characters and traverses different generations, ranging from 1979-2019.
Vijay Babu has posted a casting call for the movie in his social media handle. Along with that he has also mentioned that GoB is one of the best action scripts that he has come across. Details regarding the cast and crew will be officially announced shortly.
