Kunchako Boban teams up with ‘Ordinary’ Sugeeth again
After delivering hits with Ordinary and Madhura Naranga, the trio of Kunchacko Boban, director Sugeeth and scriptwriter Nishad Koya are again teaming up for an upcoming movie, all set to start rolling by the first half of March.
According to scriptwriter Nishad Koya, the movie will be an entertainer which gives a lot of prominence to humour. It will also involve a few action sequences.
Biju Menon who is a regular in Sugeeth’s upcoming movie, as the makers have roped in Vinayakan as the second lead. He will have a meaty role along with Kunchacko Boban in the movie.
Nishad Koya recently wrote the script for Mammootty’s last release Thoppil Joppan directed by Johny Antony. He is currently in Dubai working on the script along with director Sugeeth. The plot deals with a young man who comes to Kochi from his village and the various encounters he faces in the city. The rest of the cast and crew of the film is yet to be finalized.
Sugeeth, Nishad Koya and Kunchako Boban first teamed up in 2012 for the superhit movie Ordinary. Later they did 3 Dots, which had lukewarm response at the box office. In 2015, they again teamed up for Madhura Naranga which was a commercial success.
Kunchako Boban’s next release would be Take Off, the directorial debut of editor Mahesh Narayanan. The actor is playing the role of a male nurse in this movie which also stars Parvathy Menon, Fahad Faasil and Asif Ali in pivotal roles. He has also signed for director Ranjith Sankar’s upcoming romantic entertainer Ramante Edenthottam.
