Mudhugauv, the caper thriller is on its way to the screens
Mudhugauv, the upcoming Malayalam film is all set to hit the screens here in Kerala on this May 13 as per reports and it is said to be a caper thriller movie. The film had invited the attention of the audience because of the debut of super star Suresh Gopi’s son Gokul Suresh. Along with him actor Vijaya Kumar’s daughter Arthana Binu making her debut as well as female lead opposite Gokul Suresh. Friday Film House is produced this film along with Carnival motion pictures Private Limited. Debutant director Vipin Das had written and filmed this movie.
The trailer and teaser of this film had received very well by the film lovers and the star cast of the film includes Soubin Shaheer, Kanarana Harish, Baiju, Vijay Babu etc as well. Vijay Babu is playing the negative role in this and he is sporting a Rambo style in this movie. The movie is following an experimental pattern of narration as we said above. It is a caper thriller kind movie and may be the first of its kind in Malayalam cinema.

Caper thrillers is a genre which is different from crime thrillers, but has elements of crime thrillers in it. Caper thriller will tell the story by including humor, adventure, unexpected cleverness of the characters etc and will not be a straight narration like some crime thrillers which involves crimes and its investigation. In this kind of films the focus will shift to some other events in the plot by using the above mentioned elements. It will be very interesting to see how well it works out here in Mollywood.
