Priya Varrier to debut in Tamil with ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ fame Nalan Kumarasamy’s next!

Internet sensation Priya Prakash Varrier continues to win hearts and be talked about in social medias. All it required was a casual wink for her to trend globally. Offers have been flowing in for the teenager from several industries including Bollywood. The latest we hear is that Priya has signed her debut Tamil movie with Nalan Kumarasamy of ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ fame.

Nalan Kumarasamy is one of the most promising young filmmakers in Tamil cinema. He made his debut with the Vijay Sethupathi starrer Soodhi Kavvum, a black comedy-crime film that went on to be hugely successful. In his second film Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum, the director introduced ‘Premam’ fame Madonna Sebastian to Kollywood. She was paired opposite Vijay Sethupathi in the rom-com, which was an official remake of the Korean film My Dear Desperado.

Details about his upcoming movie with Priya Prakash Varrier are not yet known. But it will be interesting to see how he launches Priya in Tamil amdist all the hype. It is also good to see the actress taking her time to sign her next with a director who has a good body of work. An official word regarding the project is still awaited.

Meanwhile, we hear that Priya’s sensational debut movie Oru Adaar Love will be released as a multi-lingual in four languages. Apart from Malayalam, the movie will also be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It is a good move by the makers to cash in on the huge popularity that they attained with the promo song and teaser. If reports are to be believed, the movie will be hitting screens by the second week of September.
