In Indian cinema if there is a question asked about who is the best actor ever India has seen then it will be sure that the competition for that spot will be between two actors from South India. And as you all know that will be between Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan. Both have just made the audience wonder struck with their unbelievable and out of the world performances and still the best in this field even after many years of stardom.
Mohanlal is considered as the finest and most natural actor our country has ever seen and in the case of versatility, range or flexibility he is the best ever Indian screen has seen. But when it comes to experiments and cinema as a whole Kamal Haasan is the king as there is nothing in cinema that he can’t do as he acts, writes, directs, sings and what not.
Now there again started the debate on who is the best Mohanlal or Kamal Haasan because of a reason. That is the remake of Mohanlal starrer Drishyam to Kollywood and in Kollywood version KamalHaasan is reprising the role which has been essayed by Mohanlal in the original Malayalam version.
With the release of the trailer of the comparisons between both these greats has increased and in social media this is the hot topic for a while. In the Telugu and Kannada version of the film the actors who did the part of Mohanlal has reached nowhere near him in performance and they were just like small hills in front of the Mount Everest when it compares to the performance level of them and Mohanlal.
Director Jeethu Joseph himself telling about both Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan as he was the one who conceived both the Malayalam and Tamil version. Jeethu says that there is no need to compare these two as both of them had different acting methods from each other. Kamal Haasan acts according to the taste of Tamil audience and Mohanlal does it considering the taste of Malayali audience. Mohanlal is more natural and subtle and Kamal Haasan is more emotional and loud as the male lead as the character formation differs a bit in Tamil from Malayalam according to the taste and culture.
