Puli Murugan directed by Vyshakh is in news for almost one and half years and it is easily one of the most anticipated film ever in Mollywood history. The reason for that is one name and it is Mohanlal. Mohanlal being the biggest star in Mollywood creates lots of hype with just his name. That is his impact and popularity here and he admired here not just a star alone but also as the best actor Mollywood had ever seen. Even in the whole indian film industry we can’t find anactor who can match up to the skills of this man called Mohanlal.
The title of the flick Puli Murugan itself gave great hope for the audience as it really suggested to them that this will be a never seen kind of visual treat for Mollywood film lovers. When the name of Peter Hein, the best fight master in Indian now joins Mohanlal for the first time with this film as well. That also made the expectations raised even before the shoot.

Director Vyshakh told that they will be narrating the story in the most realistic way possible and at the same time it will be an entertainer for the audience as well. The story takes place in a small village near forest and many parts has to be shot in dense forest as well. The shoot will begin in Vietnam and there the filming of Mohanlal’s fight with ten leopards will be shot. The filming there at Vietnam will be over within 15 days and the later parts will be shot in Kerala at locations like Silent valley forests and Attapady areas.
It is the story of a man named Murugan who leaves in a village near forest and earns his living by cutting bamboo tress etc in forest. He had to fight with wild animals and nature forces to go on with his life and the film tells how he become Puli Murugan from an ordinary village man named Murugan. The fight between Mohanlal and leopards will be shot using 10 trained leopards coming from Banghok.
This flick will be financed by Tomichan Mulakupadam and written by Udaya Krishna and it will be his first solo script. Music direction is by Gopi Sundar and DOP will be Shaji.
