Some people tried to destroy Action Hero Biju, says Nivin Pauly
Nivin Pauly’s latest release named Action Hero Biju directed by Abrid Shine is now running in theaters here in Kerala. The film which released among great hype had received a mixed response from the common audience even though critics had showered praises on the film. Everybody expected it to be a mass action film that gives us a fire brand cop.
But actually, the film was a realistic one which told us the life story of a police officer named Biju Paulose, played by Nivin Pauly. It gave us an insight into how a police station works in real life and what are the emotional situations through which a police officer have to go through every day. But how many people like that way of storytelling when the expectation was to get a mass action film from the young rising star of Mollywood. Now, Nivin Pauly says that some people had really tried to destroy their film using the aid of social media.

He said that both him and director Abrid Shine is aware of the situation and they had realized it on the day of its release. Bad reports were framed against the film and spread through Facebook and whatsapp. It had spread through Facebook comments, posts and some were even insulting and abusing Abrid Shine as well. All that was really looked like someone is hidden somewhere and really playing against them with the intention to destroy their film and through it them as well. Abrid Shine and Nivin Pauly had jointly produced the film.
Nivin Pauly and Abrid Shine says that the pain they had endured, specially, on the first 3 days of the film was terrible. It’s because they can see what is really happening and how they were getting attacked through social Media, but they are sitting helpless as well. But later many people like Sathyan Anthikkad, Anwar Rasheed, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Martin Prakkatt, Aju Varghese etc called them and appreciated them for the work they had done in the film. The collection also improved after the first 3 days and at that time they really had a sigh of relief.
