Parvathi Ratheesh’s next will be Kallayi F M
Daughter of late actor Ratheesh, Parvathi Ratheesh made her debut in tinsel town through Madhuranaranga where she was cast alongside Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon. Parvathi played the role of Thamara a Tamil-speaking Sri Lankan girl in Madhuranaranga. Her performance was well appreciated by the audience.
The actress has now signed for her next movie titeld as Kallayi FM, directed by debutant Vineesh Millenium. Paravathi will be playing the role of Saira Banu, a flower seller wearing a traditional thattam in the movie. The character is a very bold and independent girl who is a huge fan of Mohammed Rafi.
Veteran actor Sreenivasan will play the role of Mohammed Rafi in the movie. Kallayi FM also stars Aneesh G Menon and Sreenath Bhasi in major roles. Sreenath Bhasi will play the role of Parvathi’s brother, a young generation hip hop music fan.
Drishyam fame Aneesh G Menon will play the love interest of Parvathi’s character Saira Banu. Parvathi will speak with an authentic Kozhikode slang in the movie. The actress who was brought up in Chennai has said that, it was not very difficult to learn the slang as she many of her friends hail from Kozhikode.
The movie also has Kottayam Nazir, Sunil Sughada, Kalabhavan Shajon, Krishnaprabha in other important roles. Kallayi FM is a comedy musical set in Kallayi in Kozhikode district of Kerala. Some portions of the movie will also be filmed in Mumbai and Dubai.
