Puthan Panam leading the list of Summer releases
As of the present scenario what we see is the summer releases are ruling the Mollywood industry. Mammootty starers The Great Father, Puthan Panam and Mohanlal starer 1971 Beyond Borders have hit theaters recently.
The first release was Haneef Adeni’s The Great Father, which was exclusively released for the fans. It had collected a whopping collection from the box office. The film had collected more than 13 crores after it’s 11th day in box office. It is reported that the Indian collection has crossed 15 crores. Prior to it’s initial day of release, the movie witnessed a slow paced collection due to the common and expected storyline.
Dileep starer Georgettan’s Pooram and Vineeth’s Kaamboji didn’t make any move in the box office. Georgettan’s Pooram still runs in a handful of theaters in Kerala.
Mohanlal- Major Ravi team’s 1971 Beyond Borders was another release the fans had been waiting for. The fourth installment of Major Mahadevan was a big failure and completely disappointed even the fans. The fans never expected such a flick from a person who had been ruling the industry for a while now.
Ranjith’s Puthan Panam had hit theaters today. The movie as expected gifts a pleasant movie experience for the audience. It is quite sure that the movie which has an interesting storyline is all set to make the box office move in the coming days.
Mahesh Narayan’s Take Off, which got released last month continues to entertain and inspire audience worldwide. Resulting to an epic failure at box office, Asif Ali’s Honey Bee 2 had to be changed from several theaters.
