There was period when Prabhas was bankrupt: SS Rajamouli
Prabhas is currently riding on the high on record breaking success of Baahubali 2. The name and fame that the Baahubali series got to Prabhas makes him one of the most popular actors in India right now.
But not many know that the actor was almost bankrupt during the filming stages of Baahubali. Director SS Rajamouli revealed this bit of information during a recent interview. Prabhas had dedicated almost five years to focus entirely on Baahubali. He did not commit for any other movie during this period.
Prabhas had turned down several huge offers to concentrate solely on Baahubali. He even turned down a 10 crore offer for an advertisement.
Recently, a Telugu media had reported about the remuneration list of the actors in Baahubali. Lead actor Prabhas was paid Rs 25 crores while Rana Daggubati was paid Rs 15 crores. Tamannaah and Anushka was paid 5 crores each.
Meanwhile, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has set the box office on fire worldwide. The movie has already crossed the 500 crore mark while also becoming the fastest Indian film to do so. It is expected to cross the 1000 mark in the coming days.
