Watch out for a big announcement on Mammootty’s birthday!
Malayalam cinema’s megastar, Mammootty is celebrating his birthday on September 7. Fans organizations are planning large scale celebrations across the state for their matinee idol. Along with that, industry insiders are also hoping to make the birthday special for Mammootty. Buzz is that a new project will be announced on the day, as a birthday treat for the fans. Speculations are already rife about who will be directing this new project. Lately, Mammootty has been in talks for multiple projects, so that makes it even more exciting.
Apart from that, an official teaser and first look poster of two of his upcoming movies are expected to be released on the same day. Mammootty is currently shooting for Madura Raja, the spin-off of his character from the blockbuster film ‘Pokkiriraja’. Vysakh, who directed the first part, is helming this upcoming movie as well.
Mammootty’s next release will be the Sethu directorial Oru Kuttanadan Blog. The movie was initially schedule for Onam release but had to be postponed due to the floods. The actor also has the YSR biopic Yatra, period flick Maamaankam and Peranbu, all in various stages of production.
