Chemban Vinod Jose and Nimisha Sajayan in PT Kunju Muhammed’s Bahar
Chemban Vinod Jose and Nimisha Sajayan are all set to team up for a new film titled ‘Bahar’. PT Kunju Muhammed is directing the film, which is based on real life events. It is the story about how Gulf aspirants were illegally transported through the sea route. Chemban Vinod plays a character named ‘lanchi’ Ramakrishnan in the movie.
PT Kunju Muhammed has earlier directed critically acclaimed films like ‘Magrib’, ‘Garshim’ and ‘Paradesi’. His last release was ‘Viswasapoorvam Mansoor’. The upcoming film ‘Bahar’ (which means sea) is expected to be another quality work from the director. The movie will discuss about caste and religion politics that existed in Kerala during those days.
PT Kunju Muhammed has scripted the movie based on several real life people and their experiences. The makers have planned to start shooting from June in Kozhikode. Official announcement with details regarding the entire cast and crew will be made shortly.
