Fast forward to September 7th, and Shah Rukh Khan once again accomplished the extraordinary with “Jawan,” directed by Atlee. In just 18 days from its global release, “Jawan” crossed the remarkable 1000 crore mark.
With this extraordinary achievement, Shah Rukh Khan etched his name in Indian Cinema history as the only actor to deliver two 1000 crore grossing movies in a single year. “Jawan” marked the Bollywood debut of Tamil sensation Atlee, providing the perfect platform for Tamil actress Nayanthara and South Indian music sensation Anirudh Ravichander to make their Hindi film debuts.
This cinematic masterpiece, produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s own banner, Red Chillies Entertainment, also achieved the status of an industry hit in Bollywood, surpassing the domestic net earnings of films like “Pathaan” and “Gadar 2.”
