Honey Rose

Honey Rose is a 25-year-old actress who works in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies.

Personal life
She celebrates her birthday on 17 May 1989 and hails from Moolamattom in Thodupuzha. She is a Christian by birth. Her parents are Varghese and Rosily who do not have a film background. She finished her school education from S.H.E.M. SCHOOL in Thodupuzha.

Professional life
She made her debut in the movie Boy Friend under the direction of Vinayan. She played one of the two female leads. Though she had to share the spotlight with Madhumitha, she certainly made an impact in the movie. She soon committed to a role in the Telugu movie EE Varsham Sakshiga in which she played an important character. She made her first appearance in Kollywood through the movie Mudhal Kanave where she played the role of Jennifer. Before long, she bagged another Telugu movie Aalayam.

She returned to Malayalam with the movie Sound of Boot in which she appeared as Meera Nambiar. Before long, she did a Kannada movie Nanjangud Nanjuda. It is to be noted that she changed her name to Hamsini during this time. Her next project was a Tamil movie Singam Puli where she essayed the role of Gayathri. Though she was busy with the projects in other languages she continued to make her presence felt in Malayalam film industry through the movies such as Uppukandan Brothers Back in Action and the Malayalam version of Ajantha. She also was the part of the Kannada version of the movie.

However, the real breakthrough in her career was the movie Trivandrum Lodge. She depicted the role of an English novelist, Dhwani Nambiar. It was indeed a daring step to take the role as it had sexual implications. Fortunately, the audience was highly pleased with her performance and viewed her character in a positive light. In fact, Dhwani Nambiar has taken her career to the next level. She even decided to remodel her name to Dhwani.

However, she changed her name back to Honey for the movie Anchu Sundharikal. She landed herself into controversy after doing a lip lock scene with Murali Gopi in the movie One By Two. Her other noteworthy movies are Hotel California, Thank You, Daivathinte Swantham Cletus, Ringmaster and the like. She will be a part of the upcoming movies like My God, Pithavinum Puthranum, Parishudhathmavinum and the Tamil movie Gali Brothers.
