Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum: The first look poster of Tovino Thomas’ Malayalam-Tamil bilingual movie is here
Few months back, we had reported about Tovino Thomas doing a Malayalam/Tamil bilingual film. The first look posters of both the versions were released today by the makers. The Malayalam version has been titled as Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum and the Tamil version is titled as Abhiyum Anuvum. Lead actors Tovino and Pia Bajapi feature in the first look poster.
Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum is directed by cinematographer BR Vijayalakshmi. She is noted for being Asia’s first woman cinematographer. She has worked in several films as DOP and has also scripted the Malayalam movie Daddy, which had Arvind Swamy in the lead.
Her upcoming directorial is tipped to be romantic film based on a real life incident that happened in Latin America. Udayabanu Maheshwaran has penned the story and screenplay for this upcoming Tamil-Malayalam bilingual.
Tovino has already shown his potential in playing tough roles with his performance in films like 7th Day, ABCD, Guppy and Style. Humour also comes naturally to him as we have seen in films like You Too Brutus and Godha. This will be his first attempt in playing a full length romantic character.
Veteran actors Prabhu, Suhasini Mani Ratnam and Rohini are playing supporting roles in this movie. Shoot has already been completed. The team had shot extensively in various parts of Kerala and Chennai for the movie.
Vikram Mehra and BR Vijayalakshmi are jointly funding this movie under the banner of Yoodlee Films. Ace cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Santhosh Sivan is serving as an executive producer for this movie. It is funded under the banner of Yoodle Films and is slated to hit screens on September 22.
