Ajith’s Valimai release date announced
The makers of Ajith starrer ‘Valimai’ have announced that the film will be hitting screens for Pongal next year. Though there were speculations about the film getting ready for Deepavali release, the makers have pushed it further hoping that the pandemic situation subsides by then. If reports are to be believed, Vijay’s ‘Beast’ is also planning a Pongal release. In that case, a huge box office clash is on cards.
‘Valimai’ directed by H Vinoth is an eagerly awaited film. It promises to be a stylishly shot mass-action flick. Ajith reportedly plays a cop’s role in it. Telugu actor Karthikeya Gummakonda of ‘RX 100’ fame will be seen as the antagonist. Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is the female lead.
Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios are jointly producing the film. Nirav Shah has cranked the camera and music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. A first glimpse of the film is expected to be out shortly.
