Amal Neerad to crank the camera for Fahadh Faasil’s next with Anwar Rasheed
Fahadh Faasil, who made a comeback after one year through Take Off, has signed for his next Malayalam movie. The actor will be teaming up with Anwar Rasheed for an upcoming entertainer. Amal Neerad will handle the camera for this movie. Fahadh himslef revealed this bit of information during a chat session with RJ Shaan of Club FM UAE.
Fahadh called this yet to be titled movie as the biggest project in his career. They will start shooting for this movie by June and are planning it to release by the end of this year.
Earlier Anwar Rasheed and Fahadh Faasil had planned to work on a movie titled as Maniyarayil Jinn but they could not take it forward. Last year also there were unconfirmed reports about the two teaming up.
In 2013, Anwar Rasheed directed the segment Aami in 5 Sundharikal, an anthology of five movies. Fahadh Faasil played the central character in Aami. Interestingly, Amal Neerad handled the camera in Aami also. Apart from that, Fahadh has also worked under Anwar Rasheed’s production in Bangalore Days, directed by Anjali Menon.
Fahadh Faasil’s latest release Take Off, which marked the debut directorial of renowned editor Mahesh Narayanan has been getting some rave reviews. Fahadh is also getting due appreciation for his performance in a brief role as an Indian Ambassador.
The actor has two other movies in the pipeline waiting to hit screens- Rafi’s Role Models and Dileesh Pothen’s Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum. He has completed the shoot for both the movies and they are expected to hit screens in the coming months.
He has also signed for two other projects- Carbon with acclaimed cinematographer turned filmmaker Venu and an untitled rural entertainer with G Marthandan.
He is also making his Kollywood debut this year through Mohan Raja’s Velaikaaran which also stars Sivakarthikeyan, Nayanthara and Sneha in major roles. Fahadh is playing the villain in the movie.
