Andrea Jeremiah plays a grey-shaded role in Thalapathy 64
There is a lot of expectations on ‘Thalapathy 64′ considering the fact that Vijay is teaming up with a proven talent like Lokesh Kanagaraj and it boasts of such a big star cast. Vijay Sethupathi, Antony Varghese, Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah, ’96’ fame Gouri G Kishan and Ramya Subramanian will be seen in major roles in the film.
It is being reported that ‘Thalapathy 64’ has Vijay playing a college professor with an untold dark side. While Vijay Sethupathi is confirmed as the villain, it is heard that Andrea’s character also has grey shades. The actress is known for playing strong grey-shaded roles in films like ‘Thupparivalan’ and ‘Vada Chennai’. In ‘Thalapathy 64’, she will be part of some action scenes for which she is undergoing special training.
According to director Lokesh, ‘Thalapathy 64’ will be completely different film from the usual mass masala entertainers that Vijay does. Lokesh has scripted the film with additional screenplay by Pon Parthiban and ‘Aadai’ director Rathna Kumar. On the technical side, music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography is by Sathyan Sooryan.
Xavier Britto is producing the film, which is scheduled for summer release in 2020. There is a buzz in social medias suggesting that the film’s title and first look poster will be unveiled on New Year’s day but the makers are yet to confirm it.
