Angamaly Diaries is not really a ‘katta local’ movie

However, in reality Angamaly Diaries is not a local movie. Normally, movies with newcomers are made with a shoestring budget but Angamaly Diaries is an exception. While talking to Onlookers Media, the makers informed us that the production value of the movie is equal to any other ordinary star vehicle. The audience will get to know the reason behind it only when we watch the movie.
Lijo Jose Pellissery is known for his unique filmmaking style and treatment. All his movies are like chalk and cheese with no such similarities. He consciously stays from the usual commercial formula and tries to incorporate something novel in all his movies. So the expectation levels for this movie is high among the cine buffs of the state.
Actor Chemban Vinod Jose is debuting as a screen writer through this movie, which is said to be inspired from an original story. From what we saw in the trailer, we suppose it will be a realistic gangster drama revolving around a group of youngsters from Angamaly.
Girish Gangadharan, noted for his work in movies like Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, Kali and Guppy has wielded the camera in this movie. Charlie fame Shameer Muhammed is the editor. Prashanth Pillai, a regular in Lijo Jose Pellissery movies, has composed the music. Interestingly, the movie has nine tracks. Two of them have already been released and are trending in social media pages.
