Mollywood seems to be in the news recently for all the wrong reasons. We had saw many examples recently including fake newses by online medias and also some controversial steps taken by our film personalities. The latest one in this list includes Aroma Mani and Fahadh Faasil.
Famous and Veteran film producer Aroma Mani, who is the owner of Sunitha Productions has come out with some serious allegations against actor Fahadh Faasil, and as you guess, it was indeed a financial issue. Aroma Mani says that Fahadh Faasil agreed to act in his film ‘Iyer in Pakistan’ and took an advance of 4 lakhs from him in 2012. But later when he went to Fahadh with a project he had not given him his dates and it is happened not only once, but three times. And to make the matter more worse, later Fahadh had refused to act in Aroma Mani’s project.
Aroma Mani says that even though he had made his complaints to the Authorities of Producers association about what happened to him, there was no action yet be taken against Fahadh. Aroma Mani said that the association told him that Fahadh had given them a letter through AMMA, saying that Fahadh had no interest in the project which Mani was keen on making.
But According to Aroma Mani, the producers association still not showed him the above mentioned letter that which Fahadh had written and given to the producers association through the actor’s association AMMA, telling his lack of interest in the film, which aroma Mani is Producing. The film which is in the issue was inaugurated by the Chief Minister at Kalabhavan theatre Trivandrum and it resulted in making heavy financial lose to Aroma Mani including the money that was given for technicians and other unit members etc.
Mani says that he has been trying to contact the producers association authorities for two and a half years to solve this problem. But still there is no response from them at all regarding this matter. Aroma Mmani is a very experienced film personality with more than 50 films as a producer and more than 10 films as a director.
