Antony Varghese to star in football based film
Antony Varghese has been away from action for over a year now. His last release was ‘Swathandriam Ardharathriyil’, which hit screens last March. His ‘Jallikattu’ with mentor Lijo Jose Pellissery has been in the making for nearly a year and is expected to hit screens by the end of this year. He also has a film with Tinu Pappachan in the pipeline.
The latest we hear is that Antony has signed for a new film with debutant Nikhil Premraj, who was a former associate in ‘Kuttanpillayude Sivarathri’. It is a football based flick set in the Malabar region. The makers had recently released a casting call looking for aspiring teenage actors, who have a flair in football as well.
More details regarding the genre, cast or when the movie starts rolling is not yet known. Newcomer Faiz Siddik will be cranking the camera and it will be produced under the banner of Achappu Movie Magic. An official announcement is expected to be made shortly.
