More arrests registered related to Pulimurugan piracy issue
Pulimurugan, the epic success in Mollywood starring Mohanlal is continuing its sensational box office hunt even after entering the 100 crore club for the first time ever in Mollywood.
The film is having extra shows even on working days and on weekends, houseful shows are raining for the movie. The flick was released in UAE/GCC market last week and got record gross from there.
From its first 3 days itself, it had broken the lifetime gross of Premam in UAE/GCC market and become the biggest Mollywood grosser there. But the pirated print of the movie had come online the next day after the UAE/GCC release.
The team behind the movie took sudden action and with the help of Anti -Piracy cell in Kerala, they had removed many such prints from online sources. But still some sites uploaded the prints from some foreign servers and people began to download and spread it from there.
Anti-Piracy Cell had taken action against it as they had arrested some people for downloading and spreading the movie. More arrests were registered today as well regarding this issue.
Arrests were registered from different places in Kerala like Kottakkal, Valayar, Perinthalmanna etc. Last day a man was arrested from Kannur for spreading the pirated print through Memory card. Reports are coming in that some people are selling the pirated print in the form of DVD in passenger trains.
Anyway, the Anti- Piracy cell is going all out against this issue and more arrests will be registered soon.
