Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne and Sharafudheen play police officers in Kuttavum Shikshayum
Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne and Sharafudheen are turning police officers for a new film titled ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’. Rajeev Ravi is directing the film which is based on a true crime story. Sibi Thomas, a real life policeman, has scripted the film along with Sreejith Divakaran. Sibi is noted for his role as a cop in ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’.
‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ is based on a crime investigation that Sibi Thomas had led few years back when he was a Circle Inspector. It is about a well-planned jewellery robbery that occurred in Kasargod. The case took the police force from Kerala to a dreaded village in Uttar Pradesh where they risked their lives to nab the culprits.
In the film, Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne and Sharafudheen will be seen as the young cops who lead the investigation. Alencier Ley Lopez and Senthil Krishna are also playing important roles. Suresh Rajan of ‘Thottappan’ fame is the cinematographer and National award winner B Ajithkumar is handling the edits.
Arun Kumar VR is producing the film under the banner of Film Roll Productions. Shoot is stalled halfway due to the lockdown.
