Big Brother has high chances for getting remade in other languages: Siddique
Mohanlal are veteran filmmaker Siddique are teaming for ‘Big Brother’, which is slated for release next month. It is the actor-director duo’s third film together after ‘Vietnam Colony’ and ‘Ladies and Gentleman’. According to the director, this is the most expensive film in his career and has been made as a proper superstar film.
In the past, several films of Siddique have went on to be remade in other languages like ‘Ramji Rao Speaking’, ‘In Harihar Nagar’, ‘Godfather’, ‘Hitler’, ‘Friends’, ‘Chronic Bachelor’, ‘Bodyguard’ and ‘Bhaskar The Rascal’. According to the director, just like his earlier films, ‘Big Brother’ also has a storyline that appeals to a wide audience. He believes that there are high chances for the film to get remade in other languages.
‘Big Brother’ is expected to be a complete entertainer with all commercial elements in it. Mohanlal, Anoop Menon and ‘June’ fame Sarjano Khalid will be seen as siblings in the film. Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan is making his Malayalam debut by a police officer’s character. Mirna Menon, Gadha, Honey Rose, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Siddique, Tini Tom, Janardhanan, Satna Titus and Chemban Vinod Jose are also part of the supporting cast.
