Bigil emerges as the new industry hit in Kollywood
Viiay’s ‘Bigil’ has reached its 25th day of theatrical run and is still running successfully in Tamil Nadu. As per trade analysts, ‘Bigil’, has emerged as the new industry hit Kollywood. The hashtag #25DaysOfIndustryHitBigil is currently trending in Twitter. The film has toppled multiple records to achieve this phenomenal feat. It is the highest grossing film of the year both in Tamil Nadu and worldwide. It is also the all-time highest grosser in the state for a straight Tamil film. ‘Baahubali 2’ is the only film ahead of ‘Bigil’ in Tamil Nadu gross.

Amidst huge expectations, ‘Bigil’ got released worldwide on October 25. It opened to mixed reviews from the critics but that didn’t have any sort of impact on the massive opening.
