Reports are abuzz with news that the acclaimed Kollywood director, A R Murugadoss, has approached Mohanlal for a pivotal role in his forthcoming movie featuring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead.
Though no official confirmation has been released, South Indian trade analysts have been actively tweeting about this potential collaboration. Alongside Mohanlal, Bollywood luminaries Vidyut Jammwal and Mrunal Thakur are reportedly part of this high-budget venture.
The formal announcement unveiling the movie’s cast and crew is anticipated soon. Sri Lakshmi Movies will be spearheading this project, while the musical finesse will be crafted by the talented Anirudh Ravichander. Mohanlal’s recent cameo in the blockbuster hit ‘Jailer’ alongside Rajinikanth set a trend in South India, further amplifying the anticipation for his upcoming projects.
Mohanlal’s imminent release, ‘Neru,’ directed by Jeethu Joseph, is slated for a December launch. Additionally, his films ‘Malaikkottai Vaaliban,’ helmed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, and ‘Barroz,’ under Mohanlal’s directorial baton, are scheduled to grace the screens early next year.
