My character in Lucifer has an anti-hero shade: Mohanlal
Prithviraj’s directorial debut, Lucifer, starring Mohanlal in the lead is eagerly awaited by the Malayali audience. The movie is scheduled to hit screens in March, but the buzz around it is already huge. Apart from the fact that it is a political thriller, nothing else is known about the movie, which has raised the audience’s curiosity.
Lucifer scripted by Murali Gopy has Mohanlal playing a politician named Stephen Nedumballi. The movie’s recently released teaser indicated that his is character has grey shades and Mohanlal has now confirmed the same. In an interview, when asked about playing his thoughts on playing negative roles, the veteran said he would love to play anti-hero characters. He added that his character in Lucifer is one such grey-shaded role.
Lucifer has stars like Vivek Oberoi Indrajith Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas and Manju Warrier and in major roles. Recently, Prithviraj had said that all the characters in the movie have grey shades. They all lie in between the circles of good (white) and bad (black).
Lucifer shoot is nearing completion. Mohanlal recently finished shooting for his portions. The movie has been shot across Kerala, Mumbai, Banglore, Lakshadweep and Russia. Mohanlal’s home banner Aashirvad Cinemas is producing the movie.
