Covid-19: Jr NTR contributes Rs 75 lakhs!
Telugu film stars have very generous with their contributions to help battle the Corona virus outbreak. Inspired by fellow actors like Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan, young star Jr NTR has also donated a sum of Rs 75 lakhs. 25 lakhs each will be given to the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh while another 25 lakhs will be provided to the film industry workers who are suffering due to the total lock down.
Most recently, Allu Arjun declared that he would be donating Rs 1.25 crore to the governments of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to help them in their fight against the pandemic. Prabhas had donated a whopping Rs 4 crores of which Rs 3 crore goes to the PM relief fund and Rs 50 lakh each to the governments of the two Telugu-speaking states. Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan contributed Rs 1 crore each to the AP and Telangana governments. Pawan has also promised to contribute Rs 1 crore to the PM relief fund. Actor Ram Charan donated a sum of Rs 70 lakhs while his father Chiranjeevi offered Rs 1 crore as financial aid for the film industry workers.
