Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari’s next is based on enterpreneur Varun Agarwal
Nitesh Tiwari is finally planning to start works on his new movie after delivering the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema- Dangal. The director’s next is an interesting project. It is based on the life of young enterpreneur Varun Agarwal.
The announcement was made recently by Sidharth Roy Kapur during the launch of his new production house Roy Kapur Films (RKF). The news about a movie on Varun Agarwal has already created a buzz among the audience.
Varun Agarwal is the brain behind Alma Mater and the author of the book, How I Braved Anu Aunty & Co-Founded a Million Dollar Company. He is being looked up as an inspiration by many youngsters. His journey of starting from a small locality to establishing himself as a brand has been phenomenal.
Many feel that Varun’s story deserved to be told on big screen and with Nitesh Tiwari coming on board to direct the movie, expectations will be high among the audience. More details about the cast and remaining team are expected to be revealed soon.
Nitesh Tiwari made his directorial debut in 2011 with the widely acclaimed movie Chillar Party. Three years later in 2014, he directed the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Bhoothnath Returns. Aamir Khan’s Dangal is just his third directorial venture but he proved his calibre with the sensational success of the film. With its record breaking run in China, Dangal recently became the first Indian movie to enter the 2000 crore club.
