Deepti Sati is excited that she could share screen space with Mammootty
Deepti Sati stormed into the world of movies through Lal Jose’s Nee-na. The actress won a lot of accolades for her performance in the movie. Post the success of Nee-na she forayed in to the Kannada film industry. After a gap of over an year, Deepti is coming back to Mollywood with a Mammootty starrer. She is playing one of the leads in the megastar’s upcoming movie with 7th Day fame Shyam Dhar.
Deepti is playing the role of a fun loving bubbly girl from Kochi. Asha Sarath is playing the other lead and she will be seen as a teacher in the movie. Deepti Sati is elated that she could share screen space with Mammootty and Asha Sarath so early in her career. In a recent interview with Times Of India, the actress is quoted saying,
“I am very happy and glad that I will be sharing screen space with veterans like Mammootty sir and Asha Sarath ma’am. More than anything else, the experience of learning from them and observing them act has really taught me so much. Their advice, help and just interacting with them was beautiful. I play a bubbly, fun-loving girl from Kochi in the movie.”
Mammootty is essaying the role of a tutor in a teacher training institute in the movie. There are speculations that the movie is titled as Rajakumaran, named after his character. He is playing an Idukki native who comes to Kochi as a teacher trainer.
Innocent, Dileesh Pothen, Hareesh Kanaran and Sohan Seenulal are also part of the cast. The movie is written by debutant Ratheesh Ravi. M Jayachandran is composing the songs for this movie, produced by B Rakesh and Mohammed Salim under the banner MSM Cinemas.
