Dileep to play a guest role in Suraj Venjaramoodu’s Savari
Suraj Venjaramoodu is in a tremendous phase in his career. Unlike the earlier days, where he used to play comedians and side-kicks, he is getting to play solid roles that offers him scope for performance. After playing lead roles in films like Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Varnyathil Ashanka and the upcoming Kuttan Pillayude Sivarathri, Suraj has bagged another one titled Savari.
The movie directed by debutant Ashok Nair is based on the cultural activities of Thrissur district. Suraj plays the character Savari, who is employed with the Dewasom Board. Actor Dileep will be seen in a guest role in the movie. Though it is a cameo role, his character will have much prominence in the film’s storyline.
The movie also stars Shivaji Gurvayoor, Jayaraj Warrier, Chembil Ashokan, Manikandan Pattambi, Sunil Sukhada, Lena and Baiju are also part of the supporting cast. Shoot for the movie was wrapped up last year and is now gearing up for release.
Dileep, who is currently on conditional bail in the actress assault case, is expected to start shooting for his shelved projects soon. He will be resuming the shoot of debutant Rathish Ambat’s big budget movie Kammarasambhavam, which also stars popular actor Siddharth.
