Dileep’s Thankamani Gearing Up for Release: 4 Fight Masters Collaborate for High-Octane Action Sequences
Renowned actor Dileep is poised to make a triumphant return to the silver screen with his highly anticipated film, “Thankamani.” Directed by Ratheesh Raghunandan, who garnered acclaim for the critically acclaimed “Udal,” this film promises to be a cinematic spectacle.
Months ago, the title teaser of “Thankamani” was unveiled, and it received an overwhelmingly positive response from cinephiles. Recent reports reveal that the movie will feature pulse-pounding action sequences crafted by a team of four esteemed fight masters.
The quartet of action choreographers includes Stunt Siva, known for his work in “Jailer,” Supreme Sundar from “Thallumala,” Rajasekhar of “Ayyappanum Koshiyum” fame, and Mollywood’s very own action maestro, Mafia Sasi. Their collaboration ensures that “Thankamani” will deliver intense and adrenaline-pumping action moments.
This high-budget production is backed by RB Chaudhary under the banner of Super Good Films and Rafi Mathira under the banner of IFAR Media.
“Thankamani” marks Dileep’s 148th film and is based on real events that transpired in Kerala in 1986. The movie chronicles an incident on October 21st, 1986, involving a bus service that culminated in a police firing incident in the village of Thankamani, Kamakshi Grama Panchayat, Idukki District. The film aims to present this historical event and its far-reaching consequences.
In addition to Dileep, “Thankamani” boasts an ensemble cast featuring Pranitha, Neeta Pillai, Malavika Menon, Manoj K Jayan, Siddique, Sudev Nair, John Vijay, Ajmal Ameer, Shine Tom Chacko, Kottayam Ramesh, Major Ravi, Sampath Ram, Ambika Mohan, Ramya Panicker, Santhosh Keezhattoor, and Aziz Nedumangad.
