Dileesh Pothan all set to make his Tamil debut!
Dileesh Pothan is now an indispensable part of the Malayalam film industry. He has directed two outstanding movies – Maheshinte Prathikaram and Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum – while also doing supporting roles in numerous movies. Now, Pothan is all set to make his Tamil debut with a bilingual movie.
Ad filmmaker Biju Das is directing a horror comedy thriller titled ‘Leons’, which will have Dileesh Pothan and Hareesh Peradi in the lead roles. The movie set in the back drop of a campus will be made as a bilingual simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil. It will be produced by Nisha Nair and Hari Govind under the banner of Nisha Creations.
Hareesh Peradi is already a noted actor in Tamil cinema. He has acted alongside leading stars like Vijay, Vishal, Vikram and Vijay Sethupathi. He is also playing a crucial role in superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0. On the other hand, Dileesh Pothan is popular among the Tamil cinephiles thanks to the wide success of his directorial ventures.
Leons is scripted by newcomer Vishnu Ponkunnam. Shivaji Guruvayoor, Manoj Guiness, Kottayam Pradeep, Beena Antony and Anoop will be playing supporting roles in the movie. A bunch of newcomers will also be part of the cast.
