Dream come true moment for Manju Warrier as she starts shooting with Mammootty for The Priest
It has been over two decades since Manju Warrier started acting in films. She has acted with almost all the top stars of Malayalam cinema, except for one big name – Mammootty. The long wait is finally coming to an end this year as they both will be seen sharing screen space in ‘The Priest’. Last day, Manju joined the sets and shared a photo taken with Mammootty in her social media handle. She captioned it as a dream come true moment.
‘The Priest’ is directed by debutant Jofin T Chacko. It is said to be a thriller with horror elements in it. Jofin has written the story while screenplay and dialogues are penned by Deepu Pradeep and Shyam Mohan. Nikhila Vimal, Sreenath Bhasi, Saniya Iyappan, Baby Monica of ‘Kaithi’ fame, Jagadheesh, Ramesh Pisharody, ‘Karikku’ fame Ameya Mathew and Tony Luke will be seen in important roles.
On the technical front, the film has Akhil George of ‘Ibilis’ fame as the DOP and Rahul Raj as the music director. Shameer Muhammed is handling the edits. The film is jointly produced by Anto Joseph, B Unnikrishnan and VN Babu.
