After spending 85 days in the Aluva sub jail after being accused in the actress abduction case, actor Dileep was finally granted bail last day by the Kerala High Court. It was his third bail application before the High Court after his first two pleas were rejected. Dileep, popularly known as ‘Janapriya Nayakan’ walked out to rousing reception from his fans who thronged the jail premises in large numbers. They burst crackers, distributed sweets and showered rose petals to welcome their matinee idol. They also raised slogans in support of Dileep as soon as he walked out of the jail.
Besides scores of fans, celebrities including actor Dharmajan and Kalabhavan Ansar, had reached Aluva sub jail to greet the actor. Actor Siddique, his close friend actor/filmmaker Nadirshah and Ramaleela director Arun Gopy were present at Dileep’s house.
