Game of Thrones actor James Cosmo also signed for Dhanush-Aishwarya Lekshmi film
Dhanush’s new film with ‘Petta’ director Karthik Subbaraj is all set to begin in UK. Malayali actress Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the female lead in the film and the actress has already landed there. The film is planned as gangster-thriller and it has now got a big addition from Hollywood. James Cosmo, known for his appearances in films like ‘Braveheart’, ‘Troy’, ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion’, as well as the popular TV series ‘Game of Thrones’ has been signed to play a very crucial part in the film.
Earlier, there were reports about Karthik Subbaraj wanting to sign the legendary Al Pacino for this role but nothing materialized. Karthik welcomed the veteran James Cosmo by tweeting,

Expectations have been huge on this film ever since its announcement. Besides Aishwarya, it also has another Malayali actor as part of the cast. Joju George, who recently got a Special Jury Mention at the National Awards, is making his Tamil debut film with this one. On the technical front, Santhosh Narayanan has been signed as the composer. Shreyaas Krishna is the DOP and Vivek Harshan will be handling the edits. S Sashikanth of Y Not Studios is producing the movie.
