Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram starring Vikram to be a trilogy!
Ace filmmaker Gautham Menon is currently busy with the post production works of his much awaited spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram. Shoot for the Vikram starrer was wrapped up recently and the makers are eyeing to release it by April next year. A couple of promo teasers have already been released which has shot up the expectations among the audience.
Gautham Menon in a recent interview to a Tamil magazine has revealed that Dhruva Natchathiram will be a trilogy. He said, “The movie revolves around ten agents who work in disguise to protect and safeguard our nation. They are responsible for our national security and protect it from foreign forces. I’m planning to make it as a trilogy and release the film as a three-part franchise. Dhruva Natchathiram will hit the screens in April 2018, and the next two parts will be released in the coming years.”
Apparently, Gautham Menon has already started scripting for the final two parts of this spy-thriller series. The movie has an elaborate star cast which includes two female leads in Aishwarya Rajesh and Ritu Varma. Yesteryear actress Simran, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Divyadarshini, Vamsi Krishna, Vinayakan, Munna and many others are part of the cast.
The team travelled to seven different locations including Slovenia, Bulgaria, Austria, Turkey and Jordan to shoot for the movie.International stunt coordinators have choreographed some high octane action sequences in this big budget movie. It is being jointly funded by Gautham Menon’s own production house Ondraga Entertainment and Escape Artists Pictures.
The director has some big plans laid out for the next couple of years. His long pending Dhanush starrer Enai Noki Paayum Thotta still has 15 days of shoot left. The movie will be hitting screens three weeks after the release of Dhruva Natchathiram. After the completion of both these films, the director will start works for his highly ambitious multilingual film. Titled as Ondraga, the movie will have leading stars from all the four south Indian industries.
