Hansika Motwani joins Mohanlal’s Villain
After a short break, the team of Villain are up on their feet and have started works for the third and final schedule. The movie, directed by B Unnikrishnan marks his fourth time collaboration with Mohanlal after Madampi, Grandmaster and Mr Fraud.
Villain is a crime thriller featuring Mohanlal as Mathew Manjooran, an ex-cop. The movie has a star studded cast that includes names like Manju Warrier, Vishal, Hansika Motwani, Srikanth and Raashi Khanna among others.
Hansika has joined the sets of Villain last day. Director B Unnikrishnan shared the news through his official Facebook handle. Earlier, the director had informed that Hansika will be playing a brief but pivotal role in Villain. Tamil star Vishal is also expected to join the team in this schedule. Manju Warrier is playing Mohanlal’s wife in the film. Aju Varghese, Chemban Vinod and Siddique are also part of the cast.
Apart from an ensemble star cast, Villian also has m a strong technical team that includs the likes of DOP Manoj Paramahamsa, Peter Hein and VFX technicians from Poland.
Rockline Venkatesh who has produced films like Bhajrangi Bhaijaan and Lingaa is producing this movie. Villain is being shot completely in 8K resolution, which is a first in Malayalam cinema. Songs in the movie are composed by Oppam fame 4 Musics while background score is handled by Sushin Shyam. Shameer Mohammed of Charlie and Angamaly Diaries fame is in charge of the editing department.
