Here’s a Republic Day special poster of Tovino’s Kalki
Tovino Thomas has some interesting projects coming up in the next few months. One of the most promising among them is ‘Kalki’, in which he will be seen as a cop. Praveen Prabharam, who was the associate director in the star’s ‘Theevandi’, is making his directorial debut with this movie. A Republic Day special poster has been released by the makers in social medias.
‘Kalki’ will be an out and out mass entertainer. Although Tovino has acted as a policeman in ‘Ezra’ and ‘Tharangam’, ‘Kalki’ will be his first attempt in playing a full fledged cop role. For the last few months, the actor has been working on building his physique as the movie is action-packed. According to the makers, Tovino’s character in the movie will be on the lines of Mammootty’s iconic cop, Inspector Balram, who was a brash and forthright officer.
Kalki is scripted by director Praveen and Sujin Sujathan. Jakes Bejoy is handling the music department. Gautham Sankar of ‘Theevandi’ and ‘Ladoo’ fame is the cinematographer. Suvin K Krishna and Prasobh Krishna are producing the movie under the banner of Little Big Films. Shoot will be commencing by the end of March.
