Here’s Mohanlal as Kunjali Marakkar from Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham
‘Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham’ is a much hyped film that is currently in the post-production phase. Shoot got wrapped up in March and since it is a VFX heavy film, the makers themselves had informed that it might take up to a year to complete all the works. A Los Angeles based company is handling the VFX works. As per latest reports, the team is planning to wrap up works by the end of this year and release it for Christmas.

The period flick which is based on the life of Kunjali Marakkar has big stars from various industries from across the country. Mohanlal plays the titular role of Kunjali Marakkar IV. Apart from him, the star-studded cast also comprises of his son Pranav, Suniel Shetty, Arjun Sarja, Keerthy Suresh, Ashok Selvan, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Prabhu, Mukesh, Siddique, Manju Warrier, Baburaj, Nedumudi Venu, Hareesh Perady, Nandu, Innocent, Ganesh Kumar, Suresh Kumar and many others.
‘Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham’ is said to be made on a budget of around Rs 100 crores. Mohanlal’s Aashirvad Cinemas, Confident Group and Moonshot Entertainment are jointly producing the movie.
