It’s a wrap for Tovino’s ‘Ente Ummante Peru’
With a handful of projects, Tovino Thomas is easily one of the most busiest actors in M-Town. He has wrapped up the shoot of his new movie, ‘Ente Ummante Peru’ in double quick time. The movie directed by debutant Jose Sebastian has Tovino playing the lead along with veteran actress Urvasi. As the title suggests, the movie tells an endearing story of a mother-son relationship.
‘Ente Ummante Peru’ is scripted jointly by Jose Sebastian and Sarath R Nair. The movie has Tovino playing Hameed, an youngster from Malabar who runs an antique shop. Newcomer Saipriya has been paired with him in the movie. Shanthi Krishna, Dileesh Pothan, Hareesh Kanaran, Siddique and Mammukoya are also part of the supporting cast.
In the technical side, Jordi Plannel Closa is the cinematographer and Gopi Sunder handles the music department. Mahesh Narayanan is the editor. The movie is being produced jointly by Anto Jospeh Film Company and Al Tari Movies.
Tovino will next join the second schedule of Salim Ahamed’s ‘And The Oscar Goes To’. He also has a 3-day shoot left for Prithviraj directorial ‘Lucifer’, that has Mohanlal in the lead. ‘Luca’ with debutant Arun Bose, ‘Kilometers and Kilometers’ with Jeo Baby and ‘Kalki’ with Praveen Prabharam are his other upcoming films. His next to hit screens is Madhupal’s ‘Oru Kuprasidha Payyan’, slated for release on November 9. His maiden straight Tamil film ‘Maari 2’, in which he plays the villain opposite Dhanush, is also gearing up for release by the end of this year.
