Jayasurya lends his voice for a track in Ilayaraja
As we had reported earlier, Ajay Kumar, aka Guinness Pakru is playing the lead in ‘Ilayaraja’. The movie directed by Madhav Ramdasan is getting ready for release. Recently, actor Jayasurya recorded for a song in the movie. It is after a gap that the actor is lending his voice for a song, and probably the first time he is singing for another actor’s film. Ratheesh Vega has composed the song, which is said to be a peppy track. It is worth a mention that Jayasurya has previously worked with director Madhav Ramdasan in ‘Apothecary’. His performance in the movie was widely appreciated.
‘Ilayaraja’ has Pakru playing the lead role of Vanajan while Gokul Suresh appears in a cameo role as Bryan. Madhav Ramadan has has penned the movie’s story while screenplay and dialogues are penned by Sudeep T George. Deepak Parambol, Harisree Ashokan, Kavitha Nair, Anil Nedumangad, Baby Ardra, Master Adhithyan, Jayaraj Warrier, Alphy Panjikaran, Binish Babu, Thampy Antony and many others are part of the cast.
In the technical front, Pappinu cranks the camera and Ratheesh Vegha handles the music department. Sreenivasa Krishna is the editor. Movie Musical Cutz is presenting the movie in association with Mumbai Cine Talkies. Release date will be announced shortly.
