Jayasurya to play the lead in next Siddique film
At last it is confirmed that who is going to play the lead in next movie directed by master director Siddique. It will be Jayasurya, one of the most talented and popular young actor in Kerala, going to play the lead in Siddique’s next directorial venture. It will be for the first time in his career that Jayasurya going to play a character in Siddique’s film.
Siddique’s last directorial venture was Bhasakar the Rascal with Mammootty and Nayanthara in the lead. Even though the film got mixed opinions from the audience, it end up as a box office success thanks to the vacation season and also due to the trust people have on Siddique. But he had to face a lot of criticism from people for his last few films like Bhaskar the Rascal and Ladies and Gentleman.
Siddique had united with Lal to write the screenplay for Dileep film named King Liar, directed by Lal and the film released few weeks back doing good at box office now. They had worked together for a film after 22 years even though people is of the opinion that they still can’t come anyway close to the quality of their previous films that released years back.

Earlier Siddique had planned his next film with Fahad Fazil in the lead. Later some problems developed between the two as per reports and the project has been shelved. Siddique also has plans for the Tamil Remake of Bhaskar the Rascal and Hindi remake of films like Chronic Bachelor, Ladies and Gentleman etc too.
Jayasurya is going through a busy schedule now. He has a lot of projects lined up for him. He is currently busy with IDI by Sajid Yahiya. He had completed School Bus by Roshen Andrews as well. Films like Shakahanum Pareekuttiyum by Boban Samuel, Pretham by Renjith Shankar, Madhupal film etc also there waiting for him. He had won the special jury mention at National film awards this year and is going through good times in his career. Let’s hope that this Siddique film will also do good for him.
