Kho Kho satellite rights bagged by Asianet
Rajisha Vijayan starrer ‘Kho Kho’ had hit screens on April 14 as a Vishu release. The film had garnered pretty good reviews from the critics. But within days after its release, the pandemic situation worsened in the state with a surge in the number of cases. The makers were eventually forced to withdraw the film from theatres. The film’s satellite rights have now been bagged by Asianet. Director Rahul Riji Nair shared by the big news with his followers in Facebook. He has written,

‘Kho Kho’ is a sports-based film that has Rajisha playing the role of a Kho Kho coach. It is probably the first time that a film based on Kho Kho is being made in mainstream Indian cinema. The film’s cast includes Venkitesh, Mamitha Baiju, Vettukili Prakash and Renjit Shekar among others. Some original Kho Kho players have also acted in the film.
