L2E: Empuraan Gears Up for Historic Global Release in 1000 Locations
The highly anticipated Malayalam film L2E: Empuraan, starring Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is set for an unprecedented global release on March 27, 2025. The film will premiere in North America on March 26 and is making history as the biggest overseas release for a Malayalam movie, with screenings planned in over 1000 international locations. In Kerala alone, the film is securing a massive 700 screens, while fan shows are rapidly heading toward 300+ screenings, making it one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the year.
As the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer, Empuraan promises an action-packed political thriller with a stellar cast, including Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, and international star Jerome Flynn.
