Lakshmi Gopalaswamy meets Kalidas Jayaram 21 years after he made his acting debut as her son!
Lakshmi Gopalswamy is busy doing back to back projects in Malayalam. She is part of Dulquer Salmaan’s ongoing cop film ‘Salute’. More recently, she also started shooting for a new film with Kalidas Jayaram. Interestingly, it is after 21 long years that the two are acting together. They last shared screen space as a mother-son duo in Sathyan Anthikad’s ‘Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal’. The National award winning film also marked the acting debut of Kalidas.

Kalidas is currently shooting for a new film directed by debutant Vinil Varghese. Reba Monica John and Namitha Pramod play the female leads in it, which is yet-to-be titled. Director Vinil Varghese himself has written the story and screenplay while dialogues are penned by Vincent Vadakkan of ‘Trance’ fame. The film is being produced by Sreejith KS and Blessy Sreejith under the banner of Navarasa Films.
