Mahesh Babu and Chiranjeevi donate Rs 1 crore each to fight Covid-19
Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has contributed Rs 1 crore to the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana who are battling against the Corona virus outbreak. He also requested everyone to come forward to make a donation towards the cause. Mahesh Babu also urged everyone to abide by the rules and support the lockdown. The star has tweeted,

Meanwhile, megastar Chiranjeevi donated Rs 1 crore as financial aid for the film industry workers who are jobless due to the complete lockdown. His tweet reads,
The lockdown situation while mandatory to deal with the #CoronaCrisis,also adversely impacts the lives of daily wage workers & lower income groups in the country including the #TeluguFilmIndustry.Keeping this in mind I am donating Rs.1 Cr for providing relief to the Film workers.
Earlier, actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan had offered Rs 50 lakhs each to the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana. Besides that, he also promised to contribute Rs 1 crore to the Prime Minister’s relief fund. Actor Ram Charan also donated a sum of Rs 70 lakhs
