Mahesh Narayanan-Fahadh Faasil combo reunite for Netflix anthology
Mahesh Narayanan and Fahadh Faasil are set to team up for the fourth time. This time it will be for a short segment in the upcoming Netflix anthology based on MT Vasudevan Nair’s stories. Planned as a 10-part anthology, it has films helmed by directors like Priyadarshan, Shyamaprasad, Santosh Sivan, Jayaraj, Rathish Ambat and Lijo Jose Pellissery.
The cast includes the likes of Mohanlal, Mammootty, Parvathy Thiruvoth, Indrajith Sukumaran, Ann Augustine, Aparna Balamurali, Sshivada, Biju Menon, Indrans and Nedumudi Venu among others. Each segment is based on a story by MT Vasudevan Nair.
Details regarding Mahesh Narayanan and Fahadh Faasil’s segment are not yet known. The two share a great rapport as they have worked together previously in ‘Take Off’, ‘C U Soon’ and ‘Malik’. Interestingly, Fahadh’s upcoming film ‘Malayankunju’ has Mahesh as the cinematographer and scenarist.
Fahadh is currently shooting for the Tamil film ‘Vikram, co-starring Kamal Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi. Mahesh Narayanan, meanwhile, has ‘Ariyippu’ with Kunchacko Boban, his Hindi directorial debut ‘Phantom Hospital’ and a film with Kamal Hassan in the lineup.
