Major Ravi set to begin his next; Casting call out
It seems like Major Ravi will be attempting a new genre for his next film. The director, who is well known for his army-based films, might try something new next. Last day, he shared a casting call in his Facebook page looking for male and female actors between the age groups of 13-18, 22-32 and 30-60. The poster attached with the casting call hints at something like a coming-of-age rom-com set in a rural backdrop. Details regarding the lead actors or technicians associated with the project are not yet known.
Recently, Major Ravi had also announced that he would be making a film based on the Indo-Chinese conflict. Titled as ‘Bridge on Galwan’, the film will be primarily centred around the construction of the strategic bridge on Galwan valley that was a key trigger for the issues between the two countries. The director had also said that he is planning to start shoot by January 2021 depending on the pandemic situation and weather in the Leh-Ladakh region.
