Mammootty and Aattam Director Anand Ekarshi to Collaborate? Talks in Initial Stages!
Malayalam superstar Mammootty is reportedly in early discussions for a project with Aattam director Anand Ekarshi. A successful story narration has already taken place, and if things fall into place, the film could mark a unique collaboration between the legendary actor and the rising filmmaker.
Anand Ekarshi gained critical acclaim with Aattam, a gripping social drama that delves into power dynamics and workplace harassment. Starring Zarin Shihab, Vinay Forrt, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and others, the film was lauded for its intense screenplay, powerful performances, and sharp storytelling.
Currently, Mammootty is filming Mahesh Narayanan’s much-anticipated multistarrer, where he shares the screen with Mohanlal. Post this, he will team up with Falimy director Nithish Sahadev. The megastar is also in talks for projects with Tinu Pappachan and Khalid Rahman later this year.
With Anand Ekarshi’s unconventional storytelling style and Mammootty’s unparalleled versatility, this potential collaboration has already sparked excitement among cinephiles. An official confirmation is awaited, but if this project materializes, it could be another milestone in Malayalam cinema.
